As one of my favorite Looney Tunes characters, Marvin the Martian, would say it is back to the drawing board for me. Right now I’m at a crossroads with my career path (hey where’s that deal with the devil at the crossroad when ya need it?) and what to pursue in the interim.
Of course I’m not giving up some things, namely my photography. In fact, for the past few weeks I’ve been on a great spree behind the camera. My goal is to beef up some of those activities in the next few months to keep the ball rolling and rolling further and further.
The winter has been rough on me for many reasons, so as the warm weather and sunny days increase I feel my creativity blossoming anew. There are many projects I’m working on and planning to get that creative mojo back. This feels better than anything at the moment.
The job search is still a bit flat and a whole lot of challenging. I still don’t understand the setbacks and the problems and either do the career counselors I’ve hired. By the way they talk I shouldn’t be encountering near the problems I have. But none can pinpoint any major flaw or glaring problem. That’s been the greatest frustration in this job seeking journey. The lack of an answer to “why?”
But the drawing board awaits.
